Penguins are native to the southern hemisphere. Many species are found in Antarctica, but some live in warmer southern regions, as well. However, all penguins live near a body of water. This is so they can catch their food and swim in the water. Penguins also may move to a new habitat because of migration, however, this habitat will still be in the southern hemisphere.
